Appeal templates library
Copy-ready wording for every Meta decision, written to be read in seconds by a reviewer.
Stuck? Skip the letters and send your case to people who do this every day.
We'll handle it for youEach template here is written for one situation and one route. Pick the closest match, then personalise it. If none fit, the generator builds one from your details.
| Template set | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Your Instagram is disabled, suspended, flagged for age, impersonation or spam. | |
| Your personal profile is suspended, disabled, or stuck in an identity check. | |
| Ad account & Business Portfolio | Ads are restricted, an ad account is disabled, or a portfolio lost access. |
| Pages & groups | A Page or group is restricted, unpublished or removed. |
| Follow-ups & support chat | You already appealed and need to nudge, or you reached a live agent. |
Three rules every template follows
- It names the account, the decision and the date in the first two lines, because reviewers scan.
- It states one clear request: restore the account, or review it manually.
- It stays calm. No threats, no capital letters, no story about how unfair the algorithm is.
Want to see the finished product from the service side? UnbanPro keeps a worked Facebook appeal example too.
How to adapt a template in two minutes
- Swap the brackets. Username, date and the policy name come from your notice. Our reference guide shows where they are.
- Add one fact only you would know, such as the month you opened the account, the shop you run or the trip you were on.
- Cut anything emotional. "This is so unfair" adds nothing. "I rely on this account for customer orders" adds weight.
- Pick the right length. A few sentences fit the in-app box. The full letter is for email, chat and Appeals Centre Europe.
Templates vs the generator
Templates are good when you want to see the wording before you commit. The generator is faster when you want your details dropped in, a deadline calculated and your regional rights cited. It also writes a follow-up letter when Meta doesn't answer.
Questions people ask
Can I use the same template twice?
Use it once per decision. If you follow up, use a follow-up template that refers to your first appeal and adds something new.
Do templates work for Threads?
Yes. Threads decisions are tied to your Instagram account, so use the Instagram set.
